Time to rev up for 2011
I’ll be posting a poll soon to ask your opinion about some ideas we have for enhancing our event this year.
Pacesetter Reader at Barnes & Noble
Our intrepid Pacesetter Reader, Michelle Buonfiglio is the host of Barnes & Nobles new Online Romance Book Club– Heart to Heart (H2H).
This looks like it’s going to be a fun place for romance readers and authors to hang out, talk about romance and find out what is up at B&N romance-wise. Currently, the site features an interview with B&N romance buyer, Tommy Dreiling.

As a matter of fact, several of us from Romance Unleashed hung out from 8 p.m. to nearly midnight selling shirts, totes and talking to anyone who would listen about the upcoming event. If you’re here because you met us at National–leave a comment and say, “hi.”

I didn’t get enough pictures. We were having so much fun at the Moonlight Madness sale I simply forgot to take my camera out of the bag. But I do have a few shots. The best was Jessica Trapp and her mom modeling our “As a matter of fact I do write real books” shirt. Yes. They stood there for over an hour holding those shirts up and looking cute.

I’ve sent out e-mails to all of those who had reached $100 by Thursday. I did not get a report on Friday (our contact in the CFF office was not in that day). I will get the next report on Monday morning and it should include all donations through the weekend. So–it is time now to beat the bushes. Nag those relatives who haven’t donated yet and send out a few more e-mails to all those folks on your Christmas list.

We will have some fabulous prizes next week–watch this space tomorrow for an announcement, but I can tell you there will be prizes for those who read the most pages and write the most words as well as some cool prizes for bringing in more donations. More tomorrow. Remember–keep spreading the word!
